From Tirana, the adventure expands into two of the Balkans’ most captivating countries — Croatia and Montenegro. In Montenegro, prepare to be amazed by the stunning natural beauty of Kotor Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site surrounded by dramatic mountains and medieval towns. The scenery here is nothing short of breathtaking.
Continuing into Croatia, you’ll step into the world-famous city of Dubrovnik, often called the “Pearl of the Adriatic.” Walk along its impressive city walls, wander through narrow cobblestone streets, and soak in the rich history and charm that make this destination unforgettable.

Day 1: Welcome to Rome

Upon arrival at Rome International Airport, Private transfer to the hotel (In case your flight is delayed, there is no reason to worry our driver will meet you accordingly. There are no additional charges for flight delays) to the hotel where you will be greeted with a warm welcome. After checking in, enjoy some leisure time to explore Rome at your own pace. Day 2: Rome Colosseum and Palatine Hill tour

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel, will meet you at the designated location before embarking on a Step into the Colosseum through the Gladiator’s Gate, access the Arena Floor and relish the amphitheater as the gladiators once did.
After your Colosseum tour, you’ll venture further into the heart of Rome with visits to the historic Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. While your guide reveals the secrets of Rome’s founding site, you’ll enjoy a stunning backdrop of the Colosseum, than you vill have free time for prepare for your next early morning journey, other night at the hotel.

Day 3: Rome - Assisi - Siena - Florence

Departing at 7:15 am from the hotel St.Martin by a deluxe coach, you will arrive in Assisi, ready to explore, at your own leisure, this tiny town surrounded by walls, built in the Middle Ages. Take your time to visit the basilica of St. Francis, where you will see masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue and, then, have free time for lunch (not included). Board on the bus to reach Siena, a Unesco World Heritage Site, world-known for the Palio, the historical horse race around the shell-shaped town square: Piazza del Campo. Next, you will continue on to Florence, where you will check in at your hotel before enjoying dinner and a well-earned night of rest.

Day 4: Florence

After breakfast, you will spend the day venturing around beautiful Florence, the “Cradle of Renaissance”, where, with the help of Michelangelo, Italian art reached its pinnacle. Based on Etruscan-Roman origins, the city flourished in the Middle Ages as a free “Comune” and was further refined during the Renaissance. You will be fascinated by the uncountable monuments, churches and buildings as Santa Maria del Fiore, more commonly referred to as the Duomo. On your visit, you will be amazed by its magnificent dome built by Filippo Brunelleschi. Cross a small piazza to see the “Campanile” tower (partly designed by Giotto) and the Baptistery, with its bronze doors where Michelangelo imagined the “Gates of Paradise.” In the heart of the city, you will see Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo della Signoria (also known as Palazzo Vecchio), and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Lunch in a typical Tuscan restaurant in Piazza Santa Croce. Spend the afternoon strolling the cobblestone streets of Florence on your own or take a short trip to Pisa (optional), one of the four main historical Marine Republics of Italy. There, you will tour the Piazza dei Miracoli with the Duomo, Pisa’s symbol “the Leaning Tower” and the Baptistery. Dinner at leisure, overnight stay in Florence.

Day 5: Florence - Bologna - Venice (B, Local Food Experience)

After a delightful breakfast in Florence, we depart for the elegant city of Bologna. Upon arrival, the charming city center, adorned with its iconic porticos, awaits your free-time exploration. Begin your walking tour at Piazza Malpighi, leading to the heart of the city at Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore. Here, you can marvel at the historic Palazzo Podestà as well as the Basilica of San Petronio, the largest Gothic church in the world built with bricks. We will then show you why Bologna is often hailed as Italy’s gastronomic capital as you delve into its vibrant street food scene, which is as rich and diverse as its culinary heritage. Meandering through the city’s medieval streets, you will encounter a delightful array of food stalls and markets, each offering a mouthwatering selection of both traditional and contemporary treats. As you explore the charming alleys and bustling piazzas, you will immerse yourself in a culinary adventure that goes beyond just a meal. With a street food light lunch experience at a local eatery offered by us, this is your chance to savor the authentic flavors and unique dishes that define Bologna’s renowned gastronomic identity. Later in the afternoon, we continue our journey to Venice (Mestre). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

Day 6: Venice (B, Local Food Experience)

After breakfast, enjoy your transfer to Piazza San Marco, and visit the most iconic places of the “Floating City”: the Palazzo dei Dogi, symbol of Venice’s glorious past, the legendary “Bridge of Sighs”. After the walking tour, allow us to treat you to a spritz or a prosecco, as a delightful conclusion to your visit to the highlights of Venice, in the company of your tour leader. While you sit comfortably and savor your drink, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy a taste of the famous “cicchetti,” a Venetian variation of tapas (light lunch). Spend the afternoon roaming along Venice’s canals at your leisure and then return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 7: Venice - Tuscany Wine Region (Montepulciano) > Rome (B, L)

After breakfast, departure from Piazzale Roma heading to Tuscany, world-known for its landscapes, its churches and castles and its delicious wines. You will proceed to Val di Chiana with a stop in Montepulciano, a medieval town rich in history and art. Known for its “Nobile” wine, on purchase in local wine houses, Montepulciano also offers stunning panoramic views and a rich cultural heritage. Lunch in a typical restaurant included!!! After lunch, quick stop to spend some free time. In the evening, you will arrive in Rome. Self transfer to the hotel.

Day 8: Rome – Pompeii – Amalfi (optional full day tour)

Make the most of your time and enjoy three of the most famous and beautiful sites in Italy in a single day trip from Rome. In a comfortable, air-conditioned coach you will be led by our dedicated and enthusiastic tour guide to discover the wonders of Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, and Positano.

Day 9: Rome - Tirana Flight day

After breakfast, free time until your flight. Self transfer to the airport (Flight ticket is included) to Tirana. Arrive to Tirana. Private transfer to the hotel (In case your flight is delayed, there is no reason to worry our driver will meet you accordingly. There are no additional charges for flight delays). Concluding the day with a hotel check-in, free time and enjoy the Tirana city. Later in the evening, welcome meeting at your hotel with your Guide, he will provide you with information about the upcoming journey.

Day 10: Tirana - Kotor to Dubrovnik - transfer

Enjoy a flavorful breakfast in Tirana before departing for the next two Balkan countries Montenegro and Croatia to Dubrovnik and Kotor. Meeting with your driver at your hotel and continue to the journey, visit the historic city of Kotor, guided by a local expert who will unveil the city’s secrets. Discover Kotor’s captivating highlights, including the medieval Castle of Kotor perched high on the city walls, the stunning Triphun Cathedral, the intriguing Archive Museum, and the renowned Wall of Shame, a testament to the city’s storied past. Kotor Bay, with its stunning natural beauty and cultural significance, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After exploring Kotor, relish some free time to soak in the picturesque views and local atmosphere before continuing to Dubrovnik. Arrive in Dubrovnik, check in at your hotel, and spend the night in this enchanting city, known for its stunning old town and crystal-clear waters.

Day 11: Dubrovnik - Check in at Boat

After breakfast free day at Dubrovnik, self transfer to boat from hotel. Official check-in is from 5pm onwards but you can arrive to the boat earlier, leave your bags onboard and choose from the many activities happening in Dubrovnik that day.
We recommend:
1. Taking a cable car ride up to Mount Srd for the most incredible view imaginable.
2. Dubrovnik is also the setting for the capital city of Westeros, Kings Landing, in Game of Thrones. If you are a fan, why not take a walking tour of the locations of the most famous scenes in the ultra-popular show and get an overview of the history of Dubrovnik at the same time?
3. Take a shuttle boat over to Lokrum Island from the Old City.
Dinner is served onboard at 6.30pm, when you will also be given your welcome speech and be introduced to everybody else on board. The evening is yours to enjoy in the Old City. Overnight on the boat in Dubrovnik (Gruz Port).

Day 12: Dubrovnik to Korčula Island

It’s time to say goodbye to Dubrovnik and hello to more incredible scenery as we head to Korcula Island, which is said to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. We are spoilt for choice with swimming spots en route before we dock near the Old City (with the same name as the island) to drop everyone off to explore the town. This pocket town is another gem with excellent restaurants and the famous Massimo cocktail bar in the “half-tower”. Overnight in either Korcula town, the ferry port or a nearby village such as Lumbarda.

Day 13: Korčula Island to Hvar Island (Jelsa, Stari Grad or Hvar)

Hvar Island is rated as one of the highlights of the trip and it’s not hard to see why. It boasts several gorgeous towns such as Jelsa (where we often dock), Stari Grad and Hvar Town itself.
We arrive into Jelsa, Stari Grad or Hvar Town (if we are lucky enough to get a docking space there) after lunch, and if you fancy visiting other towns, you can easily take a bus or taxi (not included) as the town are only around 15-25 mins from each other.
Hvar town’s nightlife is legendary and nothing beats catching the sunset at Hula Hula bar, then taking the organised shuttle boat over to Carpe Diem – the famous “club on an island”.
Stari Grad’s old town is a delight to explore, with several cosy wine-bars to be found on its winding streets. Jelsa has a wonderful harbour and promenade and features a famous park that often has live, outdoor music performances and festivals.

Day 14: Hvar Island to Split

Our 4th day on the cruise, starts with a swim stop and continue past Brac Island on the way to the biggest city on the Dalmatian coast: Split.
In the afternoon we dock into Split, with enough time to take in some of the inspiring sights of this city, including Diocletian’s Palace, the iconic statue of Gregory of Nin and Bacvice Beach.

Day 15: Split

After breakfast (7-8am) it is time to say goodbye to your shipmates and crew. Check-out is by 9am although you can leave earlier if you need to (for early flights, buses etc). The adventure does not need to stop here though as there is the option of an excursion to see the waterfalls of Krka National Park.
