I just finished the 'Budapest to Dubrovnik: A Heritage Adventure' tour and I can honestly say it was incredible. Ten days sounds fast, but the itinerary is packed—we saw so much! Budapest and Dubrovnik were stunning bookends, of course. But the real surprise was the Balkan stretch. Kotor in Montenegro felt unreal, and exploring Skopje and Tirana gave me a glimpse into cultures I knew very little about. The bus travel between countries was long, but totally worth it for the variety of history we covered. If you love architecture and want to see how many different cultures can fit into one region, this is your trip. My favorite day was walking the walls in Dubrovnik, looking out over the Adriatic. Seriously recommend!
