Itenirary

Day 1. ZAGREB (L.D)

Arrive at Zagreb and see the famous Street of Cyril and the Upper & Lower Town – the King Tomislav Square, Stone Gate, St. Mark’s Square, Church of St. Mark and the Strossmayer Promenade. See St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Ban Jelacic Square and Dolac Market.

Enjoy the rest of the day free at leisure to do some souvenir shopping or simply bask in the lively street atmosphere of the city.

Day 2. ZAGREB – LJUBLJANA – LAKE BLED (B.D)

Depart Zagreb as we head towards the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. Ljubljana City Tour: See the Church of St. Nicholas, Market Colonnade, the grandiose Triple Bridge and Dragon Bridge. Travel to Bled, visit Lake Bled which is in the Julian Alps of the upper Carniola region of north-western Slovenia. Take a traditional “Pletna“ Boat cruise in Lake Bled to visit St. Mary Church and take in the magnificent view of Bled Castle.

Day 3. LAKE BLED – POSTOJNA CAVE – OPATIJA (B.L.D)

Travel to Postojna’s most renowned attraction: Postojna Cave (Note: Entry is subjected to opening days/times) – one of the world’s largest karst monuments. It is the only cave in the world with the double-track railway line. Walk across the Russian Bridge, which was built in 1916. Opatija is a Croatian coastal town on the Adriatic Sea. Once a fashionable resort in the 19th century, it is dotted with Habsburg-era villas.

Day 4. OPATIJA – PLITVICE LAKE – ZADAR (B.D)

Proceed to the Plitvice Lakes National Park – one of Europe’s most impressive national parks. Take a walking tour through the park where you can see 16 bigger and smaller lakes with 92 cascades and waterfalls. Embark on a Boat Cruise to savour the riveting beauty of nature from a different perspective on the waters. (Note: In the event of bad weather and the boat ride unable to operate, there will be no replacement ride) Stay the night in Zadar.

Day 5. ZADAR – SPLIT (B.L.D)

Zadar: A city built in the centre of the Croatian Adriatic and steeped in three thousand years of tumultuous history. Embark on a guided promenade of the city and visit the Western Quay for an up-close look at the Sea Organ and the Monument to the Sun. Continue to St. Donatus Church, the Roman Forum, St. Anastasia’s Cathedral, St. Mary’s Church, the Lion’s Gate and Kalelarga, the longest and widest street in Zadar. Split: The 2nd largest city in Croatia, the largest city in Dalmatia and the largest city on the Croatian coast. See Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Monument (Note: Entry is subject to opening days/times) that includes the Golden Gate, Peristil Square, the Mausoleum (which was transformed into a Catholic Church) and the Cathedral of St. Domnius (Note: Entry is subject to opening days/times).

Day 6. SPLIT – STON – DUBROVNIK (B.L.D)

Ston is a small, fortified town, well known for its medieval walls that circle the town itself. Ston is also well known for its oyster production as well as the salt works in the near vicinity that has produced sea salt for centuries. Take a Boat Excursion to an Oyster Farm in Ston (includes Oyster Tasting). Continue to Dubrovnik, known for its distinctive old town. Arrive in Dubrovnik, visit Franciscan Monastery with the oldest pharmacy in Europe and Dubrovnik Cathedral. Continue walking down the Limestone-clad Stradun,one of the widest and straightest streets in the old town, and pass by the Renaissance-era Sponza Palace, which is today the home of the state archives. Other highlights you’ll see along the way include the city’s Bell Tower, Orlando’s Column, and the Church of St. Blaise. You might want to explore offshore Dubrovnik on a boat tour. Sail around the medieval wall and nearby islands, seeing the city from the sea gives it a whole new perspective.

Day 7. DUBROVNIK – KOTOR (MONTENEGRO) – DUBROVNIK (B)

Kotor, a coastal town in Montenegro and the only town on the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea. Commence sightseeing at Kotor Old Town and Kotor Bay, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Stay the night in Dubrovnik Region.

Day 8. DUBROVNIK – MOSTAR – SARAJEVO (B.L.D)

Drive towards Mostar, walk through the narrow Bazaar Street and amble along Stari Bridge (Old Bridge) which stands alone in beauty and elegance. It crosses river Neretva in a high arch and is therefore referred to as the petrified crescent. Sarajevo, dubbed as the “Jerusalem of Europe” or “Jerusalem of Balkans”. Enjoy a walking tour, which includes the city’s Old Town, Emperor’s Mosque (the largest mosque in the Balkans), the Eternal Flame and the Sarajevo Roses, which are dotted across the city.

Day 9. SARAJEVO – ZAGREB (B.D)

Today, head back to Croatia. • Enjoy the rest of the day free at leisure to do some souvenir shopping or simply bask in the lively street atmosphere of the city

Day 10. ZAGREB – AIRPORT (B.L)

You are free at leisure till your transfer to the airport for your flight back to Home with best memories.
