Itenirary

Day 1 Arrival in Istanbul

 

Arrive to Istanbul Transfer to the hotel concluding the day with a hotel check-in, free time and enjoy your free time at Istanbul. You will receive information on this part of your trip in the afternoon.

Day 2 Istanbul

 

After breakfast in your hotel, guided tour at Istanbul’s Old town Highlights includes Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Sultan Ahmet Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar (Covered Market), Bosphore and will have free time at Istanbul.

Day 3 Istanbul to Sofia (by flight)

 

Commence your day with a hearty breakfast, transfer to the airport. We take a regular flight (included, variable times) to Turkey. Arrival in Sofia. Transfer to the hotel cheek in and free time. Later in the evening, welcome meeting at your hotel with your Guide will provide you with information about the upcoming journey.

Day 4 Sofia to Skopje

 

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll begin our adventure to some of the city’s most remarkable landmarks, including Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, St. Sofia Basilica, the National Art Gallery Building, and the Presidential Palace.
Following the tour, we’ll hit the road for Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
Upon reaching Skopje, we’ll embark on a city tour to discover the rich history and culture of this city. Our itinerary includes stops at Kale Fortress, Stone Bridge, Macedonia Square, Alexander the Great statue, and Mustafa Pasha Mosque.
Your day will conclude with an overnight stay at a Skopje hotel.

Day 5 Skopje to Tirana via Matka Canyon and Prizren

 

Breakfast will be served at the hotel before we head for Prizren. En route, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the stunning Matka Canyon, a natural gem in North Macedonia. In Prizren, our city tour will take you to Prizren Castle, Mosque Sinanpasa, White Dream River, and Sadrwan Square. You’ll also have time for shopping and savoring local cuisine at charming restaurants. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to the vibrant capital city of Albania, Tirana, and you’ll stay overnight at a hotel in Tirana.

Day 6 Tirana to Ohrid with St. Naum

 

After breakfast start the day with a panoramic tour of Tirana, featuring notable landmarks such as Skanderbeg Square, Skanderbeg Statue, Et’hem Bey Mosque, and the Clock Tower.
Next, we’ll make our way to the enchanting city of Ohrid, which is known for its rich history and beautiful scenery. The day offers an optional excursion to visit St. Naum, a picturesque and historic monastery located on the shores of Lake Ohrid. The day will conclude with an overnight stay at an Ohrid hotel.

Day 7 Ohrid to Bitola and Meteora (Kalabaka)

 

Following breakfast, you’ll have free time to explore the charming Old Town of Ohrid and immerse yourself in its beauty and culture.
In the afternoon, we’ll set our course for Bitola, a city in Macedonia, where you’ll enjoy a guided city tour. Highlights include visits to the Ishak Bey Mosque, the New Mosque, and Shirok Street.
Time for shopping and a delightful lunch at local restaurants will also be on the agenda.
Continue to Kalabaka overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 8 Meteora (Kalabaka) to Athens

 

Following breakfast at your hotel, travel to the nearby UNESCO-listed Meteora for a tour of the cliff-top monasteries. Visit two different impressive Byzantine Monasteries built on top of rock towers, providing breathtaking views over the plain. Then embark on a scenic solo reserved shuttle or train journey from Meteora to Athens. Self-transfer to your hotel when you arrive in Athens. Settle in for a comfortable overnight stay in the lovely city. Enjoy Athens’ nightlife.

Day 9 Athens

 

Commence your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel, Check-out from the hotel and followed by a half-day local guided tour of Athens City and the Acropolis Museum. Meeting with a Guide and enjoy a coach journey past iconic sites such as the Greek Parliament and Panathenaic Stadium. The tour continues with an enriching on-foot exploration of the Acropolis, showcasing the timeless Parthenon. Overnight in our hotel at Athens.

Day 10 From Athens to Mykonos – Navigating as Odysses

 

Embark on an exciting journey as we transfer you to the Port of Piraeus. From there, you’ll set sail on a ferry bound for the famous island of Mykonos. Bask in the perfect timing of the crossing, enjoying the sun-drenched deck and immersing yourself in the captivating shades of the Aegean Sea.
Mykonos, known as the “heap of stones” or the “rocky place,” holds a rich history. According to legend, it was named after Mykonos, the heroic son of King Anius of Delos. As you arrive on this cosmopolitan island, our friendly English-speaking representative will warmly welcome you. They’ll assist with your hotel transfer and introduce you to the enchanting charms of Mykonos.
The remainder of the day is yours to unwind and embrace the laid-back island lifestyle. Immerse yourself in the unhurried pace embraced by the locals, allowing yourself to truly relax and soak in the beauty of Mykonos.

Day 11 Mykonos: Relax, Sun, Beach and History

 

Free day to spend a delightful time exploring the stunning island of Mykonos. Known as a favorite destination for the international “jet set,” it offers a wealth of attractions including beautiful beaches, glamorous shops, and vibrant nightlife.
When it comes to food, Mykonos offers Mediterranean cuisine that incorporates fresh vegetables, flavorful olive oil, and a variety of aromatic spices such as oregano and basil. You can also indulge in delicious fish and seafood dishes.
Remember to visit the nearby historic island of Delos, just a short ferry ride away. According to Greek mythology, Delos is the legendary birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. This ancient island has been inhabited since 3000 BC and holds immense cultural significance from ancient times.

Day 12 From Mykonos to Magical Santorini

 

Start your day with a delicious breakfast, embracing the Greek way of life. Our private vehicle will pick you up at the agreed time to take you to the port.
Get ready to captivate as Santorini’s port comes into view. The first revelation is the stunning capital city, Fira. You’ll witness white houses perched on the cliffside, gazing at the volcano.
Once you arrive, our friendly English-speaking representative will welcome you warmly. Then, he’ll escort you to your hotel. He’ll also provide insights into the remarkable features of this picturesque island.
Take the rest of the day to wander through the charming narrow streets. Immerse yourself in the incredible Santorini.

Day 13 Discovering Santorini

 

Free day to explore, at your own pace, the magical island of Santorini, considered to be the lost continent of Atlantis. Venetian Giacomo Barozzi gave the name of the island. He was inspired by the presence of a chapel dedicated to Saint Eirini.
Optionally, you can go on a dazzling sailboat tour that will take you over to the small islands of Santorini Caldera, Nea, and Palea Kameni, with the hot springs of green and yellow waters.

Day 14 From Santorini to Athens – The Return

 

As the time arrives, we will transfer you to Santorini Airport for your return flight to Athens. Rest assured that your arrival at the airport will align conveniently with your international flight, ideally scheduled for departure after 12:30 PM.
