Embark on a 10-days journey from Athens to Bucharest, experiencing the cultural treasures and scenic wonders of Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey. Upon arrival in Athens. Continue to Delphi and Meteora, immersing yourself in archaeological wonders and cliff-top monasteries. Connect with the Ajdinis Group for a tour to Thessaloniki, discovering historical landmarks. Proceed to Sofia, Plovdiv then transfer to Bucharest for further exploration. Discover Dracula’s Castle, Peles Castle, and Brasov Old Town on an optional tour. Conclude the journey with a guided tour of Bucharest than fly to another country (flight ticket included) and enyoy this experience with 10-days expedition.
Please Note:
-Age: Minimum Age of 8. Whilst there is no Maximum Age set it is assumed the customer is fit enough to take part in the activity or tour. Health documents may be requested.
-Child Discount: Age 8 – 10 sharing room with 2 full paying adults 25% and child will have a fold up bed.
-In Greece the Hellenic National Tourism Organization has decided on a residence fee to be applied on hotel accommodation from 01/01/2018. per night and are not included in the tour price. This tax must be paid by the guests directly to the hotel before the end of the stay.
-Meteora Dress Code: The monasteries have a strict dress code. To enter the monasteries of Meteora you have to adhere to the following rules: Women will need to wear a long skirt, dress or sarong, it’s not enough to keep the knees covered, so no trousers or shorts. Men must wear long pants. Sleeveless shirts are not allowed. Please make sure to have appropriate clothing before visiting the monasteries.
Itenirary
Upon landing at Athens International Airport, embark on a self-transfer to your hotel. Conclude the day with a hotel check-in, and enjoy free time to explore the vibrant city on your own. Settle in for a comfortable overnight stay in Athens.
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a luxurious bus journey northwest to Delphi. Arriving around noon, immerse yourself in the archaeological wonders, including the celebrated Temple of Apollo. After lunch, traverse Central Greece to Kalabaka, a town nestled at the foot of the awe-inspiring Meteora Monasteries. Enjoy an overnight stay in Kalabaka.
Following breakfast at your hotel, travel to the nearby UNESCO-listed Meteora for a tour of the cliff-top monasteries. Visit impressive Byzantine Monasteries built on top of rock towers, providing breathtaking views over the plain. After breakfast we vill continue our way to Bulgaria, we vill visit the Rila Monastery is the largest and most famous Eastern Orthodox monastery in Bulgaria. It is situated in the southwestern Rila Mountains than vill arrive to Sofia we’ll begin our adventure to some of the city’s most remarkable landmarks, including Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, St. Sofia Basilica, the National Art Gallery Building, and the Presidential Palace. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast we vill continue with day trip you will have the chance to discover the town of Plovdiv – one of the oldest existing settlements in world, having emerged on the three adjacent hills – the beginning of its history dates back to 4,000 years BC. It has preserved Thracian, Roman and Bulgarian heritage from different epochs. Please note that the visits to Plovdiv its optional tour.
After the hearty breakfast, followed by a seamless transfer to the capital city of Romania. Upon arrival, complete the hotel check-in process, enjoy some free time to explore the city at your leisure, and conclude the day with an overnight stay.
